I am a Romanian footballer, born on October 26, 1999, in Dej, Cluj County. I play as a central midfielder and have won 4 championship titles with CFR Cluj, along with a Romanian Supercup during my career.
I began my professional career at Unirea Dej, and in the 2015/2016 season, I transferred for one year to the Hagi Academy (now Farul Constanța). In 2018, I signed with CFR Cluj and made my first-team debut on May 19, 2019, in a match against FCSB.
Over the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons, I played 70 matches for CFR Cluj, including appearances in Liga 1, the Romanian Supercup, the Romanian Cup, the Champions League qualifiers, and the Europa League and Conference League group stages. I scored 8 goals and provided 7 assists, significantly contributing to the team’s two league titles and the Romanian Supercup during those years.
In the first half of the 2021/2022 season, I was loaned to Dinamo Bucharest, where I made 15 appearances and delivered one assist. At the start of 2022, I returned to CFR Cluj following the loan spell.
During the 2022/2023 season, I was loaned to Politehnica IaÈ™i, where I played a pivotal role in the team’s promotion to the top tier of Romanian football. After securing promotion, my transfer from CFR Cluj to Politehnica IaÈ™i was made permanent. At the end of the 2023/2024 season, I helped the team achieve its goal of remaining in Liga 1, scoring a crucial goal at a key moment. While at Politehnica IaÈ™i, I scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists.
I have a total of 100 appearances in Liga 1 and 10 appearances in European competitions
Additionally, I played 8 games for Romania’s U21 national team, participating in the qualification campaign for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, as well as in the 2021 tournament held in Budapest.
